Hobbies are the best!
Hobbies allow us all to play and have fun. Hobbies encourage us to make things, get out into the world and try new things, move and exercise, and learn new skills. Maybe, most importantly, they connect us with people who enjoy the same things we do and help us build community— because it can be hard for adults to make friends!

As a New Year’s resolution, I challenged myself to try a new hobby every month. It was not only a fun adventure, but a process of self-discovery and reflection.
The Healing Power of Pottery
In the middle of life's chaos, it can be hard to find peace. But for me, I found a safe place full of messy, soft clay. Pottery has changed my life– It used to be just a hobby, but now it's my therapy, my friend, and my artistic outlet. In the workshop, I found more than just an interest. I found a place to get away from the world, develop a deeper understanding of myself, and explore my creativity. I found a deep way to heal and learn about myself through the simple act of shaping clay.
